Instruction:
- Support the learner by highlighting their strengths and closely monitoring Learning gaps
- Developing positive learning environments
- Adaptive instruction for the individual
- Offer time for responses
- presentations could be chunked or shortened highlighting key points
- Allowing for brain/body breaks
Assessment:
- Teacher should know their students socially, emotionally and academically
- assessment should be adjusted to meet the needs of the individual
- assessment should be fair and equitable
- Assessment format could be altered (for example, written to oral)
- Assessment should encourage participation
